Data Deletion
How to ask us to delete your Constroo account and the personal information associated with it.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Current status
Self-service account deletion is not currently available in the app.
If you close the Constroo app, your account and your data remain on our systems. To have your account deleted, you must ask us by email.
Current status
There is no in-app screen for deleting your account, no automated deletion process behind an email address, and no self-service download of your data.
Signing out of the application ends your session. It does not delete your account, your profile, your bookings, or your records.

How to make a request
Email Constroo.in@gmail.com with the subject line Account deletion request.
Sending that email is a request. It does not trigger an automated deletion, and your account will continue to exist until a person has reviewed and actioned it.
We aim to confirm receipt of every request. We are not able to commit to a fixed turnaround time, and this page does not promise one.
What to include
So we can find your account, please include as much of the following as you have:
- the mobile number registered to your Constroo account;
- the email address associated with your account, if you have linked one;
- your full name, as it appears on your profile;
- any booking reference beginning with CN- that you would like removed;
Please do not send passwords, OTPs, card details, or copies of identity documents. We will never ask you for these, and they should not be included in an email.
Verifying ownership
We may need to confirm that you are the person who owns the account before acting on a request. We will ask you to confirm information already associated with the account — for example, the registered mobile number — rather than asking for new sensitive information.
If we cannot verify ownership, we will explain why and what we would need. We will not delete an account on request from someone we cannot reasonably identify as its owner.
What gets deleted
When we action a verified request, the following are removed from our systems:
- your profile record, including your name, mobile number, email address, role, and operating area;
- your onboarding information, including work preferences and any free-text descriptions you provided;
- your sign-in identity and authentication records;
- any business registration information you submitted, including stored GST registry records;
- equipment photographs you uploaded;
- in-app notifications addressed to you.
If you operate a partner business, a partner record, listings, and application materials are also subject to review. We may need to discuss the treatment of booking history that is still open before a partner record can be removed.
What may be retained
Some records cannot be deleted simply because an account is closed, because they are needed to meet legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-related obligations. Where that applies we will retain them for the period required and, where appropriate, limit them to what is necessary.
Records that may fall into this category include:
- Booking records. Bookings are not deleted with the account, because they record what was agreed between two parties.
- Payment and settlement records. Transaction identifiers, amounts, statuses, and the notifications received from the payment provider are financial records and are retained accordingly.
- Audit records. Records of status changes and administrative actions are retained so that the history of a transaction remains reconstructible.
- Muster-roll entries. Where a booking involved recorded workers, those entries relate to the work performed and may be retained as part of the booking record.

Outcome and follow-up
When a request has been actioned, we will write to the address you used to confirm what was deleted and what was retained.
You can reply to any of our emails to ask for an update, to correct information, or to withdraw a request you no longer want us to action. If you have not heard back, please send to Constroo.in@gmail.com or call +91 77448 21742.
